Our Story

At Paragon Property Management & Maintenance, we understand that successful property development isn't just about bricks and mortar—it's about vision, dedication, and a commitment to transforming spaces into thriving communities. Our journey began with Corine Wagenaar, whose upbringing immersed her in the dynamic world of property development from an early age.


From her earliest days, Corine witnessed the transformative power of property development through the inspiring work of her parents, Judith and Ted Wagenaar, in Chatham-Kent. Together, they revitalized residential and commercial properties, with Judith's keen eye for captivating spaces complemented by Ted's ability to turn vision into reality.


Growing up immersed in her parents' endeavors, Corine played an active role in their successes. She contributed to their swimming pool business, managed rental properties, and oversaw construction projects throughout Chatham-Kent. These experiences instilled in her a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for creating remarkable spaces.


Drawing upon her upbringing and fueled by her own ambition, Corine embarked on her own property ventures, infusing each project with her unique sense of design and creativity. With each transformation, she breathed new life into aging structures, turning them into vibrant living spaces and functional commercial sites.


The growth of Corine's property portfolio led to the formation of Paragon Property Management & Maintenance. In recognizing the importance of a dedicated and professional team, Corine welcomed her daughter Sarah and son Devon into the fold.

Together, Corine, Sarah, and Devon continue to uphold the values of integrity, dedication, and service that define Paragon Property Management & Maintenance. As we enter our nineth year of operation, we remain committed to assisting clients in achieving their property investment goals while providing exceptional management services for their rental properties.

With over 40 years of dedicated service in the property management industry, Corine Wagenaar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her clients.


Throughout her career, Corine has not only managed her own residential units but has also undertaken all repairs, maintenance, and renovations herself, honing her skills and knowledge to perfection.


Corine's hands-on approach to property management has equipped her with invaluable insights that make her an indispensable asset to any property investor.


Her commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail ensure that properties under her care are maintained to the highest standards, maximizing their value and investment potential.


In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the local business community, Corine was honored with the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2020.

Director of Operations and Sales

Sarah's roots trace back to the family business, where she gained hands-on experience in various aspects, including property management, tenant relations, and sales. Her dedication extends to assisting property owners in maximizing their investment values through insightful market data analysis.

As our Director of Operations and Sales, Sarah spearheads business efficiencies by integrating technology, implementing best practices, and adopting cutting-edge tools to enhance overall operational effectiveness.

Recognizing the importance of time and cost savings, Sarah implements better systems to run properties, ensuring that owners can maximize their returns with ease.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sarah is actively engaged in the community and holds a position on the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Sr. Property and Condo Manager

Rooted in Chatham, Ontario, Devon honed his skills as a senior property manager and licensed condo manager within the fold of a family business. Growing up amid the close-knit fabric of a small community, instilled a profound understanding of the dynamics of the local market.

Now, with years of experience, he specializes in troubleshooting issues that directly impact owners' bottom lines. With a keen eye for market trends and a knack for swift, effective solutions, Devon is dedicated to optimizing property values and ensuring the financial well-being of property owners in the communities he serves.

Devon is well versed in Rent-Geared-to Income (RGI) holding the certificate from the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association.

Property Manager

Don has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years.


He is a Jack-of-all-trades skilled in roofing, drywall, plumbing, painting, and renovations.


Through Don's formal training and his experience, he is able to troubleshoot common issues that may arise on the property and resolve in an efficient and cost-effective manner.


He is responsible for property maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
